President of India to confer ‘Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award’

New Delhi, 25th December 2025: Heroic Children’s Day The Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, will celebrate Heroic Children’s Day at the national level tomorrow (December 26, 2025) to remember the courage, sacrifice and exemplary values ​​of the young heroes of India. On the same day, Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award (PMRBP) will be given to children who have achieved outstanding achievements in various fields.

The Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award is a prestigious national honor given annually by the Government of India to children for exceptional excellence in the fields of bravery, art and culture, environment, social service, science and technology and sports. In 2025, 20 children from 18 states and union territories have been selected for this honor. These awards will be presented by the President of India, Smt. Draupadi Murmu on December 26, 2025 at 10:00 am in a special ceremony at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.

The national level program of Veer Bal Diwas 2025 will be organized on December 26, 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. This national program will be attended by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who will address the children and youth of India and emphasize the role of young citizens in nation building. The program will showcase stories of bravery, resilience and selfless service to inspire children and youth and reaffirm the Government of India’s commitment to nurture empowered and responsible citizens in line with the vision of a developed India by 2047. Union Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Annapurna Devi will deliver the welcome address.

School children, PMRBP award winners and eminent personalities from across the country will be present in this program. Cultural programs showcasing India’s rich civil heritage and spirit of bravery will be an important part of the celebrations.
