According to media reports, President Draupadi Murmu will reach Prayagraj on 10 February. Along with this, it is being said about Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar that he is planning to take a dip in Sangam on February 1. The administration has just started preparations regarding this.
Meanwhile, there is news of Prime Minister Narendra Modi arriving at Mahakumbh on the 5th of next month. However, no official announcement has been made regarding their visit. During this possible visit of PM Modi, many important schemes and programs are expected to be reviewed. It is being said that programs regarding his visit have also been decided.
Earlier, PM Modi had come to Prayagraj on 13 December and took stock of the preparations for Mahakumbh. During his visit, many big projects were also inaugurated. PM Modi is very serious about Mahakumbh.
He has mentioned this auspicious occasion on many forums. He had also mentioned this in his famous radio program 'Mann Ki Baat' recently. At the same time, there is talk about Home Minister Amit Shah that he will visit Mahakumbh on 27th February.
There was a stampede when Pandit Nehru reached Mahakumbh

After reaching the fair there was suddenly a stampede. According to media reports, when Pandit Nehru reached the fair, the entire administration and security system was deployed to protect him. Then a stampede broke out which could not be controlled and as a result more than 1000 devotees were crushed to death. After this incident, VVIP movement stopped during Mahakumbh.
