A serious case of taking a young man hostage and snatching cash, scooter and mobile has come to light in Bewar police station area of ​​the district. The victim has given a complaint letter to the Superintendent of Police demanding strict action against the accused.

Victim Annu Gupta told that he works as a bookkeeper at a Pepsi supplier and had gone in connection with the recovery. It is alleged that during that time, Bewar resident Nandan Thakur and his associates caught him and held him hostage in a room. The accused snatched Rs 80 thousand in cash, a scooter and mobile phone from him.

The victim also alleges that Nandan Thakur made a video of him holding an illegal pistol in his hand and threatened that if he complained to the police, he would be implicated in a false case.

At the same time, Annu Gupta’s family brother says that his brother was murdered in the year 2019, in which the names of Nandan Thakur and Chandan Thakur were revealed. It is alleged that in order to pressurize for a settlement in the same case, Annu Gupta was held hostage and threatened with death.

At present the victim has appealed to the SP for justice. The police is busy investigating the matter and further action is being taken based on the facts.
