Prime Minister Modi gave a special gift to President Putin, presented Geeta translated in Russian language

New Delhi, 5 December. Russian President Vladimir Putin reached India on Thursday evening. During this, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the Russian President with a hug. PM Modi presented ‘Gita’ translated into Russian language to Putin. Today is the second day of President Putin’s visit to India. PM Modi posted a photo of him gifting Putin a gift on social media platform X and wrote in the caption, “Presented a copy of Gita in Russian language to President Putin. The teachings of Gita inspire millions of people across the world.” After reaching Delhi, Russian President Putin was given a grand welcome.

During this, both the leaders hugged and warmly greeted each other at the airport. Russian President Putin was welcomed through a cultural program at the airport. Putin appreciated the cultural program. After this, both the global leaders left from the airport in the same car. Banners have been put up at various places in New Delhi to welcome Russian President Putin, which reflects the important diplomatic relationship. Putin was taken to 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, the official residence of the Prime Minister. The PM residence was decorated with India-Russian flags and special lighting on Thursday evening.

PM Modi said he was eagerly looking forward to his talks with Putin in the evening and on Friday. Meanwhile, PM Modi posted pictures of himself with the Russian President on Instagram and wrote, “It is a great pleasure to welcome my friend, President Putin, to India. Looking forward to our talks this evening and tomorrow. India-Russia friendship has stood the test of time, which has greatly benefited our people.”
