Prime Minister’s new office is ready, shifts will take place on this day, know what is the new address of PMO

PM New Office Seva Tirth Complex: The new office of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been completed and is now being finalized. There is a possibility that the Prime Minister may take charge of his new office this month. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Cabinet Secretariat and National Security Council Secretariat have been housed together in the new Seva Teerth complex. The complex has been developed beneath Raisina Hill near Vijay Chowk and comprises three grand buildings equipped with state-of-the-art technology, named Seva Tirth 1, Seva Tirth 2 and Seva Tirth 3.

Seva Tirth 1 will house the Prime Minister’s Office, Seva Tirth 2 has already shifted to the Cabinet Secretariat, while Seva Tirth 3 will house the National Security Council Secretariat, which will house the office of National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. This entire complex is part of the Central Vista project, under which the new Parliament House and Vice President Enclave have already been completed. Construction of eight new duty buildings for ministries is proposed, out of which three have been constructed and many ministries have also started work there.

Names of Raj Bhavans changed across the country

The new PMO was initially going to be called “Executive Enclave”, but in December it was decided to rename it Seva Teerth Complex. During this time, it was also decided to change the names of Raj Bhavans across the country to Lok Bhavan. Construction of the new Prime Minister’s residence is also going on near the Seva Teerth complex, after completion of which the Prime Minister’s residence will be shifted here from 7 Lok Kalyan Marg.

State-of-the-art rooms have been built in Seva Teerth to meet dignitaries, which reflect Indian culture and heritage. A special room has also been prepared for cabinet meetings. Open floor arrangements have been made for officers in the new PMO, as is the case in duty buildings, to ease work and bring about a change in the government work culture.
