Prime Video’s original film “The Mehta Boys” had its world premiere at the 15th Chicago South Asian Film Festival. The Mehta Boys grabbed everyone’s attention with its special world premiere on opening night at the 15th Chicago South Asian Film Festival on September 20. Boman Irani’s directorial debut has received rave reviews from audiences for its heartwarming story and stellar performances.

The world premiere was attended by the cast of the film, including the cast, writer, director and producer Boman Irani, writer Alexander Dinelaris, actors Avinash Tiwari and Shreya Chaudhary, producer Danesh Irani and executive producer Ankita Batra. The film has received a great response for showing the father-son relationship, along with the difference in generation and different thinking. It also has a great mix of humor and emotions.

An Irani Movietone LLP and Chalkboard Entertainment LLP production, The Mehta Boys marks the directorial debut of Boman Irani. The film is co-produced by Vikesh Bhutani, Shujaat Saudagar and Danesh Irani. The film is the story of a father and son who cannot live with each other but have to spend 48 hours together. It follows their difficult journey and brings out the difficulties of a father-son relationship.
