Prince Harry – Meghan Los Angeles Fire : Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are stepping up to support the Southern California community. In a statement titled “Southern California Fires,” Prince Harry and Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex expressed their solidarity and support for the thousands of people affected by the ongoing wildfires in Southern California. The wildfires wreaking havoc in the region have caused widespread damage to neighborhoods, homes, schools, medical facilities and countless lives, leaving thousands in distress. Devastating wildfires have forced thousands of people to leave Los Angeles and left many homeless.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex live in Montecito, California, about 90 miles north of Los Angeles.
According to reports, the couple has opened the doors of their home to friends and family members who had to evacuate due to the fire. In addition to providing shelter, Meghan and Harry are working with their Archewell Foundation to determine how they can best assist those affected.

Wildfires that began on January 7 have displaced more than 100,000 people in Los Angeles, and the Palisades and Eaton fires are still burning in the region.
The mansions of many top celebrities like Paris Hilton and Mandy Moore were destroyed in the fire.
The foundation is actively exploring ways to aid the mental health recovery of those in need and is also coordinating long-term recovery efforts in the wake of the fire. Donations through Archewell are being directed to aid relief efforts.
Animal Wellness Foundation and Compton Cowboys
Both organizations are providing vital services to animals affected by the wildfires. While the Animal Wellness Foundation is providing shelter and care for the evacuated animals, the Compton Cowboys are providing transportation services for horses stranded in the evacuation areas.
