Prince Yadav Shines as LSG Beat RCB in Thrilling Clash at Lucknow
A brilliant spell from Prince Yadav shone in the IPL 2026 game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, securing a 9-run victory for LSG at Lucknow.
His three-wicket spell has played a crucial role in Wednesday’s clash. Despite their win, LSG remains in the 10th position in the IPL 2026 points table.
After being invited to bat, Mitchell Marsh and Arshin Kulkarni opened the innings while Bhuvneshwar Kumar opened the bowling attack.
The drizzle stopped the match, but it did not last long as the game resumed after a few minutes.
With Arshin Kulkarni putting in a slow start, Mitchell Marsh went on to deal with fours and sixes as he put 20 ball fifty and continued to bat as he scored 58 runs in the powerplay.

Rishabh Pant remained unbeaten with 32 runs. His knock came from 10 deliveries which included four fours and 2 sixes. Josh Hazlewood, Krunal Pandya and Rasikh Salam bagged one wicket each.

Chasing 213 (DLS target) runs, Jacob Bethell and Virat Kohli opened the innings while, Mohammed Shami opened the bowling attack.
Shami bagged the wicket of Jacob Bethell for 4 runs. He got dismissed on a catch from Prince Yadav from Deep backward point.
Prince Yadav bagged the crucial wicket of Virat Kohli for duck as the side lost two wickets for 9 runs.
However, Devdutt Padikkal and Rajat Patidar slowly build the partnership as RCB scored 40 runs in the powerplay. However, Patidar smashed his fifty off 26 deliveries and accerelated the innings.
On this occasion, Prince Yadav bagged the wicket of Padikkal for 34 runs and soon bagged the wicket of Jitesh Sharma for 1 runs as RCB lost four wickets for 106 runs.
However, Tim David made a cameo posting 40 runs off 17 deliveries before being dismissed by Shahbaz Ahmed.
