Release date final of Priyanka Arul Mohan’s ‘Made in Korea’, know when it will hit the big screen

Netflix has announced the release date of **Made in Korea**, a cross-cultural Tamil-Korean drama starring Priyanka Arul Mohan, which will premiere exclusively on the platform on **March 12, 2026**.

Directed and written by Ra Karthik, the film is based on Shenbagam (Shenba), a young woman from a small town in Tamil Nadu, whose fascination with Korean culture since her childhood inspires her to take a dream trip to Seoul. Reality proves to be more difficult than imagined, leading to a heart-warming journey of courage, self-discovery, cultural challenges, and new relationships.

Produced by Rise East Entertainment (Shrinidhi Sagar), this slice-of-life story celebrates the Indo-Korean connection. Ra Karthik said: “I am impressed by the deep cultural connections and historical parallels between Korean and Tamil heritage… ‘Made in Korea’ is a slice-of-life film made with great love.”

The cast includes South Korean actors **Park Hye-jin** (*Squid Game*) and **No Ho-jin** For authenticity’s sake, Rishikant, Jang Jahyeon and other actors.

Available in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam, the film marks Priyanka Mohan’s OTT debut and reflects Netflix’s attempt to tell grounded but borderless South Indian stories. A teaser has arrived, increasing the wait for this sweet, sweet tale of growth and friendship.
