Priyanka Chaturvedi Supports Rahul Gandhi: Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has accused the central government of weakening democracy. He supported Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s statement that the opposition leader was not being allowed to meet foreign heads of state due to insecurity. Along with this, he has also criticized the cancellation of more than 550 flights of IndiGo.

Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has supported Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s statement in which he had said that the central government is not allowing the opposition leader to meet the President of Russia due to feeling insecure.

Priyanka Chaturvedi said that since 2014, the central government has been continuously trying to weaken the opposition. He stressed that by doing so this government is trying to weaken democracy, which cannot be accepted at any cost.

The voice of the opposition is being suppressed

Chaturvedi alleged that for the last few days, we are seeing a new type of democracy taking shape, under which only the voices of the leaders of the ruling party are being heard, while the voice of the opposition is being suppressed. He said that these people are trying to keep the principles of democracy at bay.

The Shiv Sena (UBT) leader also said that this government is now trying to end all democratic processes, which is completely wrong. He made it clear that under democratic processes, there is an arrangement for the leader of the opposition to meet a foreign head of state, but now efforts are being made to end this arrangement, which is completely wrong. He called it unfortunate, calling it an attempt to destroy all the fundamental principles of democracy.

Questions raised on the attitude of aviation companies

MP Priyanka Chaturvedi also expressed serious concern over the attitude of aviation companies, especially IndiGo. Regarding cancellation of more than 550 flights by Indigo, he said that flights have been canceled in many cities including Mumbai and Pune. He also told that due to this, flights have also been canceled by Air India.

Chaturvedi alleged that airlines companies do not follow the rules. A new rule regarding crew resting hours came more than two years ago, but till now these rules have not been followed.

He said that generally airlines companies give more importance to their profits, while harming the interests of common passengers. The MP said that she has raised this issue several times, but no positive steps have been taken so far.

Adjournment motion in the House on the arbitrariness of Indigo

He has given an adjournment motion in the House in this regard and he has full hope that the Chairman will pay attention to it. She wants the Chairman to take information from the Civil Aviation Minister as to what steps have been taken so far. He also said that international flights are running smoothly, but passengers on domestic flights are facing problems, which is unfortunate. He demanded that civil aviation should take positive steps to resolve the problems of passengers as soon as possible.
