Priyanka told that her biggest effort is to keep Malti connected to the culture, traditions and roots of India despite being born in a foreign country. According to him, children should get a chance to understand and adopt not just one but both cultures. During the show, when she was asked whether Malti would miss anything because of not living in India, the actress replied very simply and said that Malti has come to India many times and has seen different cities of the country. Along with Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, she has also gone to Ayodhya. Priyanka further said that she wants the Indian culture to remain around Malti, be it the dress or the traditions. The daughter loves wearing ghagra choli, lehenga, bindi and bangles, and she calls herself Indian Princess.

Nick Jonas drinks desi kadha

The matter is not limited to just the daughter, Priyanka also shared the story of her husband Nick Jonas adopting Indian colours. The actress laughingly told that Nick likes Indian food and when he is unwell, he also drinks desi kadha. On this, Kapil Sharma jokingly said that Priyanka has made not only her daughter but also her husband half Indian.
