Priyanka Gandhi is the owner of property worth Rs 12 crores
BJP accused of giving wrong details of assets
Blame: New Delhi (E-News). Priyanka Gandhi has filed her nomination papers for the post of MP from the vacant seat of Kerala's Wayanad. In the letter, she has listed her own assets as Rs 12 crore and her husband Robert Vadra's assets as Rs 66 crore. Regarding this, BJP has accused Mrs. Gandhi of giving wrong property details. Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi on Wednesday filed her nomination as Congress candidate for the Wayanad Lok Sabha by-election.
BJP made these allegations
On Priyanka's affidavit, on Thursday, BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said that in Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's affidavit, the information about the property of her husband Robert Vadra has been given wrongly. Robert Vadra's income is low, but the Income Tax Department is demanding more. How can this happen? He bought a house in Shimla, but quoted only one-tenth of its price. That means the teeth for showing are different and the teeth for eating are different. Bhatia said – Congress insulted its national president Kharge. Gaurav Bhatia showed the pictures of Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge. In this, Kharge was sitting on the back seat. He said that Khadge comes from a backward class. Just by sitting on some post, these people have kept the remote in their hands. These people do not want to accept any outsider as a leader.
Rahul left Wayanad seat
Voting in Wayanad on 13th November, Rahul vacated the seat hence Priyanka Gandhi is contesting the by-election for the first time. BJP has fielded Navya Haridas against him. In the Lok Sabha elections 2024, Rahul Gandhi had won from Wayanad in Kerala and Rae Bareli Lok Sabha seat in Uttar Pradesh. Rahul chose the Gandhi family's traditional seat, Rae Bareli, and left Wayanad. Voting will take place here on 13th November and the results will come on 23rd November.
