Priyanka Gandhi took oath as Lok Sabha member with a copy of the Constitution in her hand.

Priyanka Gandhi Lok Sabha member: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who won the by-election from Kerala's Wayanad Lok Sabha seat by a huge margin, took oath as a Lok Sabha member today. Wearing a traditional Kerala saree, Priyanka Gandhi reached the Parliament House with her family and relatives and took the oath of Lok Sabha membership with a copy of the Constitution in her hand. With Priyanka Gandhi becoming a Lok Sabha MP, three members of the Gandhi family will now be seen in Parliament. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are members of the Lok Sabha and their mother Sonia Gandhi is a member of the Rajya Sabha.

Today Priyanka Gandhi along with her mother Sonia Gandhi and brother Rahul Gandhi reached Parliament House to take oath as Lok Sabha member. At that time Rahul Gandhi stopped Priyanka Gandhi at the entrance of the Parliament House and took a picture. Priyanka Gandhi's son Rehaan and daughter Miraya also arrived to watch the swearing-in ceremony.

After taking the oath, Priyanka Gandhi (Priyanka Gandhi Lok Sabha member) saluted Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. He also saluted the leaders of the opposition parties sitting in the front row. After this, Leader of Opposition and Priyanka Gandhi's brother Rahul Gandhi also bowed to him and accepted the greeting. Priyanka Gandhi has been active in politics since 2019. She is handling the responsibility of General Secretary of the party. However, this is the first time that she has been elected as a member of any House.
