Prof. Ram Shinde, who got the most votes and was defeated by the narrowest margin, failed in a bitter fight against the strong power of the number one candidate.
Assembly elections were announced yesterday and in Maharashtra, the Mahayuti defeated the Mahavikas Aghadi by winning in a resounding manner. The result of yesterday’s Maharashtra assembly election was unique and different from the results of the assembly elections held so far. In this, many senior and senior leaders of Congress had to taste defeat.
In this, former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Prithviraj Chavan and Balasaheb Thorat, a senior Congress leader from Sangamner Assembly Constituency in Ahilya Nagar District and considered as a contender for the post of Chief Minister, also lost. Apart from this, if we look from the point of view of Karjat-Jamkhed Assembly Constituency in Ahilyanagar District, here we have seen a tough fight between NCP Sharad Pawar Group candidate Rohit Pawar and BJP Grand Alliance candidate Professor Ram Shinde.
If you look at it, during the entire assembly election period, there was a lot of campaigning in this place as well. The Bhumiputra vs. Upra issue was prominent in these assembly constituencies.
The number one candidate is Professor Ram Shinde who got the highest number of votes and was defeated by the smallest margin
In accordance with all this, even when the counting of votes for Karjat Jamkhed Assembly Constituency started yesterday, it was seen to be tight till the last moment and in this tight fight, Rohit Pawar, the candidate of Sharad Pawar group of NCP won a narrow victory.
If we look at the majority of votes in this election, then Rohit Pawar got 1 lakh 27 thousand 676 votes while the candidate of BJP grand coalition Professor Ram Shinde got 1 lakh 26 thousand 433 votes. So if we look at the difference of votes in this, it is only 1243 votes and Professor Ram Shinde was defeated by only 1243 votes.
If you look at these statistics, the number one candidate who lost the most votes and the smallest margin in the states was Prof. Ram Shinde and the sixth candidate who was defeated by the smallest margin in the state was also Ram Shinde. This fight given by Professor Ram Shinde was not as easy as it should have been.
If we look at it like that, it has to be called a fight between money power and people power. Because if we look at the career of Sharad Pawar, who is considered Chanakya in Maharashtra politics, it is a long period of 60 years.
It has to be said that this bitter fight given by the son of a brother-in-law in front of the strong power of Sharad Pawar, who has a long experience of sixty years of politics as well as power and immense wealth, is truly commendable.
In the close contest, Professor Ram Shankar Shinde got one lakh 26 thousand 433 votes and lost by a margin of just 1243 votes.
The candidate who got the highest number of votes in the state was defeated
1- Rahul PN Patil- He was a candidate who stood in the election from Karveer Assembly Constituency and got a total of one lakh thirty two thousand five hundred and fifty two votes and was defeated by a margin of 1976 votes.

That is, he became the fourth most defeated candidate in the state with the most votes and the number one candidate who was defeated with the most votes and the smallest margin.
