As of now, ITV still hasn’t communicated when the new season will premiere. Season 4 was broadcast between 2025 and early 2026 on ITV and ITVX, and there were several delays in the broadcasting due to scheduling difficulties.
Taking into account the production schedule and how long it usually takes between each season, Season 5 will likely begin airing in the UK in either late 2026 or early 2027.
The series should be available to stream on PBS Masterpiece when it is released in the US; however, a date for when that will occur has yet to be made public.
Earlier reports indicated that the show being scheduled for a 2025 or early 2026 release is unlikely based on the production deadline.
