Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Mundia and Chief Secretary K.A.P. attended the camp organized at Punjab Bhawan, Chandigarh. Sinha handed over colonies licenses, completion certificates, partial completion certificates, letter of intent, zoning plan, building plan, promoter registration certificate and layout plan etc. to 51 promoters/builders.

Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Mundiya said that for the first time such a special camp has been organized today by the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann-led government to settle the pending works of real estate related people. A second similar camp will be organized at the end of November. He said that the department is committed to settle the works of promoters/developers on priority basis with transparency. He said that an e-mail [email protected] has been created for this work, on which anyone can make direct complaint.

Appeal for cooperation from promoters/developers

Mundiya asked the promoters/developers to fully cooperate with this initiative of the government and try to provide maximum and high level facilities to the residents in the projects being developed. He said that the Chief Minister should contribute in making the state “Rangla Punjab” again and should do all-round development of the cities.

Chief Secretary K.A.P. Sinha said that the state government is very serious about any work. After completing the outstanding work of the people associated with the camp real estate, they are being given certificates on the spot. This decision of the government will give a big boost to the welfare of the people of the state, urban development and economic development of the state. Continuing this initiative of the government, camps etc. will also be organized to settle the pending works of other departments.

Unique event for the first time in the state

Housing and Urban Development Secretary Rahul Tiwari said that on the instructions of the Chief Minister, this first of its kind step has been taken to resolve the stalled works of promoters/developers in the state. He said that promoters and developers are important links in urban development, so now they will not have to worry about their work.
