Properties worth Rs 80 crore attached against Ramprastha promoters, case of cheating buyers – News

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized properties of Ramprastha Promoters and its associated groups. This action has been taken in the case of money laundering.
ED has attached properties worth around ₹80.03 crore of Ramprastha Promoters and Developers in Gurugram on money laundering charges. The action is part of an ongoing investigation into fraud with home buyers.
According to the ED, Ramprastha Group had launched several projects between 2008 and 2011. He collected more than ₹1,100 crore from thousands of buyers for these projects, but the construction was not completed on time.
This has affected all those home buyers who had booked these projects secretly. They have still not received the flats or plots as promised, leaving them in a state of disappointment and confusion.
The ED investigation has also found that the amount collected from buyers was invested in other companies. Now ED has made a list of several seized properties, which also includes properties of other related companies.
Further, ED can continue to take action on this case, and this case is still going on. A total of assets worth ₹866 crore have been seized so far. Now it remains to be seen what will be the next step in this matter.
