Three big players of Pakistan were caught on camera in a viral video on social media. Now a new incident on the field has created a stir in the entire cricket world. The umpires took immediate action and imposed a penalty on the team.
Which players did ball tampering?
Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf and Fakhar Zaman were allegedly seen ball tampering in the match played between Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings. The video of this incident is becoming increasingly viral on social media. It is being told that just before the last over of the match, these players tampered with the ball, after which the umpires noticed it and an immediate investigation was conducted.
What action was taken against the team?
Umpire Faisal Afridi present on the field got the ball checked after seeing the activity of the players. After investigation, a penalty of 5 runs was imposed on Lahore Qalandars for ball tampering. This decision came at a very important juncture of the match, which made the target easy for Karachi Kings.
After 19 overs of the second innings, Karachi Kings needed 14 runs to win. But after adding the penalty of 5 runs, this target came down to only 9 runs. Haris Rauf was bowling the last over for Qalandars, while captain Shaheen Shah Afridi looked angry with the umpire’s decision.

Khushdil Shah was out on the very first ball of the last over, which made the match more exciting. After this Rauf bowled a wide ball, which increased the pressure further. In the end, Abbas Afridi batted brilliantly and hit a four and a six, giving Karachi Kings victory with three balls to spare.
