The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled the 23-member bilingual commentary panel for the upcoming PSL 2026, which is scheduled to be played between March 26. This season, the PSL 2026 commentators list reflects a perfect balance of experience and freshness.
Former greats lend authority and deep tactical understanding, while recently retired players add contemporary insights shaped by the fast-evolving T20 format.
Their perspectives go beyond commentary—offering analysis, storytelling, and real-time breakdowns that enhance every moment of the game.
Former West Indies all-rounder Carlos Brathwaite is set to make his tournament debut in the commentary box, and former Australia women’s cricketer Lisa Sthalekar is returning for another stint.
Shoaib Malik will take on the role of Urdu commentator after featuring in all 10 previous editions of the PSL as a player.
He will be joining former Pakistan captains Salman Butt and Sana Mir. The Urdu panel includes seasoned commentator Tariq Saeed, former Pakistan women’s international Marina Iqbal, Shah Faisal and Ayaz Chaudhary, the winner of the Pepsi Voice of Pakistan 2022.
The English Commentary panel, which includes Brathwaite, will be joining a host of several international stars – South Africa’s Jean Paul Duminy, England’s Dominic Cork, Nick Knight and Mark Butcher, New Zealand’s Martin Guptill, Australia’s Greg Blewett, Lisa Sthalekar and Bangladesh’s Athar Ali.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s former captains like Wasim Akram, Ramiz Raja, Aamir Sohail and Urooj Mumtaz Khan will be providing analysis, alongside Bazid Khan.
Sikandar Bakht will feature in both the English commentary panel and the presenting line-up.
Sports broadcasters like Neroli Meadows and Jess Crowe will make their PSL debuts as presenters and hosts, joining Zainab Abbas in the role.
During the release of the PSL 2026 Commentators list, the PSL CEO, Salman Naseer, said, “We are excited to announce a star-studded and insightful commentators’ panel, which comes with years of valuable experience of calling the game behind the mic.”
“I’m sure our fans will enjoy the commentary lineup and their calls over exciting action from home as we inch closer to the beginning of the landmark 11th edition of the HBL PSL,” Salman Naseer concluded.
