PSL 2026 Points Table: Hyderabad Kingsmen secured their first-ever victory by defeating Karachi Kings in a tense, high-scoring contest that went down to the final over. Batting first, Karachi Kings posted 188 runs, powered by a half-century from Saad Baig and a rapid 44 off 16 balls from Moeen Ali. However, a strong bowling effort from Hunain Shah kept them in check despite late momentum shifts.
In reply, Kingsmen made a flying start in the powerplay, scoring at a brisk rate with contributions across the top order. Even after losing wickets in clusters during the middle overs, they stayed in the chase thanks to key spells from Adam Zampa and Abbas Afridi for Karachi. The match was ultimately decided by a composed seventh-wicket partnership between Irfan Khan and Hassan Khan, who added 50 runs off just 24 balls to guide Kingsmen home with four wickets in hand and five balls remaining. The win marked a historic moment for Hyderabad Kingsmen, as they held their nerve under pressure to chase down the target in a thrilling finish.

With the addition of eight competing teams, the tournament has shifted away from the earlier double round-robin system to a streamlined 44-match structure. Under this format, teams are divided into groups and primarily play opponents within their own group, along with a limited number of matches against teams from the opposite group. Each side completes a balanced league campaign before the standings are finalized. At the end of the league stage, the top four teams on the points table advance to the playoffs, which follow the Page playoff system to determine the finalists.
