Threat to foreign players in PSL 2026

However, now the situation has become worse. Now Jamaat-ul-Ahrar of Pakistani armed group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has instructed the foreign players participating in this league to withdraw their names. Actually these groups are planning to attack during Pakistan Super League. In such a situation, they do not want foreign players to die, due to which the issue becomes international.

PSL 2026: What threat did the armed group give?

Speaking to The Sunday Guardian, the commander of Pakistani armed group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan’s Jamaat ul Ahrar said, ‘We want to advise the respective cricket boards not to send their players to Pakistan. If something happens to them, it will not be our responsibility. We have already issued our warning. We will do everything possible to the best of our ability, but we will not let the match happen. We will try our best to ensure that the tournament is disrupted and players do not take the field.
