Pune-Bangalore travel will be superfast! Vande Bharat sleeper train will run soon with state of the art facilities

Pune-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Train : Pune : Indian Railways for passengers traveling between Maharashtra and Karnataka, especially for Pune residents (Pune News) is bringing a big gift. The much awaited Vande Bharat sleeper train has been approved for the Mumbai-Bangalore route. This train will not only save passengers time, but also provide an international class comfort experience for long distance travel.

A significant saving of 5 hours

Currently, passengers have to rely on Udyan Express or other mail/express trains to travel from Pune to Bangalore. These trains take approximately 18 to 19 hours to complete the journey. However, this picture is about to change with the arrival of the new Vande Bharat Sleeper Train. According to the Railways, this train will cover the Pune to Bangalore distance in just 13 hours, which means the passengers will save 5 to 6 hours.

A railway proposal to connect both the IT hubs is under development

While Pune is considered the ‘Oxford of the East’ and a major IT hub, Bangalore is the Silicon Valley of India. There is a large movement of professionals, students and entrepreneurs between these two cities. For travelers currently facing high air fares and long bus journeys, the Vande Bharat Sleeper Train will be a great option. After an overnight journey, passengers can reach their destination refreshed in the morning.

World class features and design

It will be a sleeper type train of Vande Bharat Express, specially designed for long distance travel between Pune and Bangalore. Its salient features are as follows:

  • Automatic doors and sensor-based systems: Trains have automatic doors for the safety and convenience of passengers.
  • Advanced Security Technologies: The train is equipped with the “Shield” safety system, which is capable of avoiding collisions.
  • Comfortable berth: The compartment design is more spacious and ergonomic than before, which reduces fatigue during long journeys.

Improved suspension: This Vande Bharat train can reach speeds of up to 160 kmph, but its suspension system has been designed to avoid any jolts to the passengers. The Ministry of Railways is considering this as the second Vande Bharat Express sleeper service in the country. Preparations for its trial rounds are in final stages and the official launch date will be announced soon.
