Pune Blogger Orders Microwave At Midnight Just To Heat Food, Instamart Approves With A DDLJ Twist

Convenience today doesn’t just make life easier, it completely changes how we think. There was a time when even a small forgotten task could feel like a big problem. Remember those late-night realizations as kids when you suddenly remembered you had to carry a map the next day. You’d lie in bed thinking of excuses, mentally preparing for a scolding. For kids today, that feeling is almost gone. Because no matter what you need, and no matter what time it is, there’s always a solution. Now add adult money into the mix, and things take a hilarious turn. And that’s exactly what happened with Sarah Kulsum, whose midnight decision has now gone viral for being too relatable.

Pune Blogger Orders A Microwave From Instamart At 12 AM

In a video shared on Instagram, Sarah Kulsum showed something most of us wouldn’t have imagined a few years ago. She got a microwave delivered to her home right at midnight, simply because she wanted to heat her food. Why wait till morning when you can get it now? She wrote, “Instamart is dangerous for people with adult money. Wdym I ordered a microwave at 12 at night because I wanted to heat my food.”

The video shows the delivery executive calmly handing over the appliance, followed by Sarah unboxing it and setting it up, all within minutes of ordering. And honestly, it feels completely normal and totally bizarre at the same time.

The Internet Finds It Too Relatable

The internet, as expected, had a field day. Some users laughed at the sheer spontaneity of it, calling it peak “adulting energy.” While ordering essentials, none of us blinks an eye. But when it comes to purchasing appliances, we have been brought up to procrastinate and compare prices, models, features, brands, and even stores. But getting it delivered within minutes feels out of the syllabus. And that’s exactly how some internet users felt.

One even commented, “Where is the family summit? The 3-day consultation? The uncles presenting alternative models nobody asked for? The aunties questioning our life choices? We’re supposed to debate, compare, overanalyse, reject, reconsider, and then still not buy it for another two weeks. What is this instant checkout behaviour?? Where is the cultural process???”

The best reaction came from Instamart itself, with a side of Bollywood masala: “Bade bade shehron mein aise choti choti purchases hote rehte hai, senorita.”

Others admitted they completely related, because who hasn’t felt that urge to fix a small inconvenience instantly, no matter the time? One user commented, “So, we ordered a gas stove for our new house at 2 am in the night using Blinkit.” Many admitted to having ordered iPhones, laptop screens, Kindles, grinders, hair appliances, and a lot more. This video simply shows how dramatically our lifestyles have changed.

And while this level of convenience makes life undeniably easier, it also blurs the line between need and impulse. A midnight craving can now turn into a full appliance purchase, delivered before you even change your mind. It’s funny, a little absurd, and very, very real.
