Pune stained with blood! Second innocent crime in 24 hours
Pune: Two consecutive incidents of violence against innocent girls in Pune district have shocked the entire area. Bhor Taluka The news of the brutality against a four-year-old girl in Nasrapur had not yet cooled down when another similar heart-wrenching case has come to light from the Chakan area.
A three-year-old girl was sexually assaulted and murdered by slitting her throat in the Mahalunge South police station limits of Chakan. Due to these incidents, there is an atmosphere of great anger and fear among the citizens.
What is the whole matter?
According to the information, this girl from Chakan area had suddenly gone missing while playing near her house. When she was not found even after a long search, the family informed the police. During the search operation, the girl’s body was found at a deserted place at some distance from the house. Initial investigation of the dead body revealed that the girl was first sexually assaulted and then murdered by slitting her throat with a sharp weapon.
As soon as information about the incident was received, Mahalunge South police reached the spot and started investigation. On the basis of CCTV footage of the area, interrogation of local people and technical investigation, the police arrested a 16-year-old suspect within just a few hours. The police is currently interrogating the accused thoroughly so that the reasons behind this act can be found out.
What matter came before this?
Earlier yesterday, a case of torture and murder of a four-year old girl had come to light in Nasrapur village of Bhor taluka. That incident had created a wave of anger in the entire state and now the next day this incident in Chakan has scared the people.
In the early morning, a 65-year-old man raped a 6-year-old girl and then crushed her body with a stone. After this the accused covered the body with cow dung. The accused has been arrested. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has said that the accused will be sent to the gallows.
Both these incidents have once again made the issue of safety of women and children serious. Citizens are demanding from the administration that the accused should be given the harshest punishment and concrete steps should be taken immediately to stop such incidents. Currently, Mahalunge South Police is investigating the matter further.
