Wanowri police have arrested a 20-year-old man for secretly recording a private video of a woman, sharing it on social media and then extorting money and sexual relations from her. This incident, which came to light recently, has resulted in charges being filed under relevant sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS).

This matter was handled promptly by Wanowri police. Using advanced technological methods, the police tracked the online activities of the accused, which led them to the accused. After cooperating with Nashik Police, the accused was arrested.

According to the police, the accused, who was facing financial crunch, secretly recorded the victim's private moments and created a fake Instagram account to circulate the videos. He then demanded ₹30,000 in exchange for deleting the footage and even demanded sex with the victim.

The investigation is ongoing, and officials are working to gather additional evidence to bring justice to the victim.
