Pune Ketan Aggarwal murder case: Fiancee Siya or lover Chetan… who is the real mastermind? During interrogation, both revealed each other’s secrets, new twist

Pune. Every day new and shocking revelations are being made in the famous Ketan Aggarwal murder case. The death of 26-year-old real estate businessman Ketan Agarwal after falling from Lohgarh Fort is now under investigation as a planned murder. Fiancé Sia Goyal and her alleged lover Chetan Chaudhary, arrested in this case, are accusing each other of conspiring to murder during interrogation. Police have found many contradictions in the statements of both, while the digital and circumstantial evidence collected so far points towards Sia’s role.

Didn’t want to get married after engagement-
According to the police, Siya and Ketan got engaged in February and their marriage was fixed for the same year. During interrogation, Sia claimed that she did not want to take the relationship further and had told Ketan about this several times. At the same time, he alleged that Chetan Choudhary had planned to remove Ketan from the way.

On the other hand, Chetan says that Sia put all the pressure on him for the murder and she was the main planner of this conspiracy. The police are continuously interrogating the changing statements of both.

Was Siya the mastermind of the entire conspiracy?
Investigating officers say that the evidence found so far indicates that Sia Goyal could be the mastermind of the entire conspiracy. According to the police, Sia and Chetan met at a Diwali party last year, after which the closeness between the two started increasing. Investigating agencies suspect that both of them together planned to murder Ketan.

More than 2,000 calls in 6 months-
Police investigation has revealed that Siya and Chetan were in constant touch for the last several months. There were more than 2,000 phone calls between the two in six months and the total conversation time was more than 238 hours. Many calls lasted two to three hours.

Investigation also revealed that the two had met in a cafe in the city a day before the incident. Police suspect that the final plan for the murder was made in this meeting. Also, the same place of Lohgarh Fort was selected, where there is less movement of people and it could have been easy to prove the incident as an accident.

Was there an attempt to murder before also?
Investigation has also revealed that Siya and Ketan had gone to Lohgarh fort on May 31 also. Police suspect that it was during that time that Siya had planned the murder for the first time. Apart from this, on June 14, an attempt was allegedly made to push Ketan from the fort. When the attempt was not successful, Siya tried to handle the matter by raising the alarm that a snake had been seen.

Parents also asked for strict punishment-
For the first time, Sia Goyal’s parents have also reacted openly in the matter. Sia’s mother Pooja Goyal said that if her daughter is proven guilty, she should also get the harshest punishment under the law. Father Praveen Goyal said that Ketan was like his son and the culprits should not be spared at any cost.

The family waits for justice-
Ketan Aggarwal’s uncle Vijay Aggarwal said that the family has full faith in the justice system of the country. He says that Ketan was an educated and intelligent young man, who had agreed to the arranged marriage as per the wishes of the family. Now the family is only demanding strict punishment for the culprits.

Police remand till June 29-
At present Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary are in police custody till June 29. Police are examining the mobile phones, call records, chats, CCTV footage and forensic evidence of both. Officials believe that on the basis of digital evidence, many more big revelations may be made in this high-profile murder case in the coming days.
