Pune Ketan Murder: Police reached Lohagarh Fort with Siya Goyal, scene recreation was done.

Pune: The investigation into Pune’s famous fiancee murder case is continuously taking new turns. In this case, the police took a big step on Sunday and took the main accused Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary to Lohagarh Fort and reconstructed the entire incident. The objective of the investigating agencies was to understand how the alleged murder on June 18 was carried out. Through this process, the police want to confirm the statements of the accused and re-examine every aspect related to the incident site.

The police took both the accused to Lohagarh Fort at around 6:30 am on Sunday morning. According to officials, similar conditions were created at the spot as were there at the time of the incident. During this, an attempt was made to understand by which route the accused reached and at which place the alleged incident took place. The investigation team repeated the entire incident sequentially so that the truth of the incident and the claims of the accused could be matched.

The entire incident was repeated with the help of an effigy.

The police used a dummy at the incident site. Through this effigy, it was shown how Ketan Aggarwal was allegedly pushed down from the height of the fort. Police believe that this exercise will help in understanding the technical and physical aspects of the incident. At the same time, it will also be clear to what extent there is a match between the incidents narrated by the accused and the actual situation of the incident.

Alleged preparations were made before the murder

During the investigation, the police have found indications that this incident did not happen suddenly. According to officials, the accused had allegedly planned it in advance and even practiced the entire procedure by visiting the same place before committing the crime. Sources claim that the first attempt to murder was made around June 14. A few days before this, both the accused had gone to Lohagarh Fort and rehearsed the implementation of the alleged plan. The police are now investigating all the available evidence to confirm these facts.

Digital evidence is also being thoroughly investigated

Investigating agencies are not limited to the incident site only. The police are also investigating the mobile phones, online activities, deleted messages and internet search history of the accused in detail. Officials believe that digital records can help in finding out when and how the incident was planned. Besides, the activities before and after the incident are also being linked.

Siya did not want to marry

According to police officials, during interrogation, Siya Goyal allegedly told that she did not want to marry Ketan Aggarwal. According to him, there was a fear that the family would be brought into disrepute if the marriage was broken, hence he hatched the alleged conspiracy with Chetan Chaudhary. However, the police is confirming these statements on the basis of available evidence and other evidence. The investigation of the case is still going on and all the facts are being examined under the legal process.
