Pune Test Day 2 Stumps: The play of the second day of the second Test match between India and New Zealand being played in Pune has ended. After India's first innings was bundled out for 156 runs, the New Zealand team scored 198 runs in the second innings at the loss of 5 wickets in 53 overs. Also the team has got a lead of 301 runs. The team remained unbeaten with Glenn Phillips scoring 9 runs and Blundell scoring 30 runs. At the same time, India is now in danger of losing the series along with the second Test.

Talking about New Zealand's second innings, captain Tom Latham has played an inning of 86 runs in 133 balls for the team. After Latham, Tom Blundell is the top scorer, he is unbeaten on 30 runs. At the same time, Washington Sundar has taken 4 wickets for India so far. Ashwin has taken 1 wicket. Earlier, on the second day of the Pune Test, India started playing with a score of 16/1. During this, Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal made a partnership of 34 runs and took the team's score to 50 runs.

Gill became the first victim of Mitchell Santner after scoring 30 runs. After this, India's wickets started collapsing. Virat Kohli returned to the pavilion after scoring 1 run, Yashasvi Jaiswal 30 runs, Rishabh Pant 18 runs, Sarfaraz Khan 11 runs and Ravichandran Ashwin scored 4 runs. Till lunch break, India had scored 107 runs at the loss of 7 wickets after playing 38 overs in the first innings. After the lunch break, Jadeja played some good shots and along with Washington Sundar took the team's score beyond 130.

Mitchell Santner gave the eighth blow to India by dismissing Jadeja on a personal score of 38. After this, Santner stopped India's first innings at the score of 156 runs by bowling out Akash Deep and dismissing Jasprit Bumrah LBW. For New Zealand, Mitchell Santner took 7 wickets for 53 runs in 19.3 overs. Glenn Phillips took 2 wickets and Tim Southee took one wicket.
