Pune Test: India's first innings all out for 156 runs, New Zealand lead by 103 runs

Pune, 25 October (HS). The second match of the three-match Test series between India and New Zealand is being played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. On the second day of the match, the Indian team's first innings was reduced to 156 runs in 45.3 overs. New Zealand had scored 259 runs in its first innings. In this sense, New Zealand has taken a lead of 103 runs over the Indian team. At present, New Zealand's second innings has started. Captain Tom Latham and Devon Conway are at the crease.

Indian team's batting proved to be a complete failure in the first innings. Captain Rohit Sharma was out without opening the account on the first day. Today, on the second day, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill made a good start. Both of them batted carefully and took the innings forward and took the score to 50 but after this Gill was out. Gill scored 30 runs in 72 balls with the help of two fours and one six. The Indian team suffered its third setback at the score of 56. Experienced batsman Virat Kohli missed the full toss and was clean bowled. Kohli could score one run. The fourth wicket of the Indian team fell at the score of 70. The seventh wicket of the Indian team fell at the score of 103. Ravichandran Ashwin was out after scoring four runs. Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar made some powerful shots and took the team's score beyond 150. In the end the entire team was all out for 156 runs. Jadeja scored 38 runs in 46 balls with the help of three fours and two sixes. Akash Deep scored six runs and Jasprit Bumrah could not even open the account. Washington scored 18 not out.

For New Zealand, Mitchell Santner took the maximum of seven wickets. Glenn Phillips took two wickets and Team Southee took one wicket.

Earlier in this match, New Zealand batted first and scored 259 runs. Captain Tom Latham and Devon Conway gave a solid start to New Zealand. Both added 32 runs for the first wicket. Ravichandran Ashwin gave India its first success by dismissing Latham on the same score. Lathman scored 15 runs. Ashwin gave India its second success by dismissing Will Young on the total score of 76. Young scored 18 runs. After this Conway and Rachin Ravindra made a partnership of 62 runs for the third wicket. During this, Conway completed his half-century. Ashwin gave India its third success by dismissing Conway on the total score of 138. Conway scored 76 runs in 141 balls with the help of 11 fours. From here Washington Sundar worked his magic and made the Kiwi batsmen dance fiercely with his spin. He gave India its fourth success by dismissing Rachin Ravindra on the score of 197. Ravindra played a brilliant half-century inning of 65 runs. After this, Sundar started sending the Kiwi batsmen one after the other to the pavilion and finally ended New Zealand's innings by bowling Mitchell Santner (33) at a total score of 259. Sundar took 7 wickets for 59 runs in 23.1 overs, while Ravichandran Ashwin took 3 wickets.
