Punjab News: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann was recently on a tour of Japan and South Korea. On Wednesday he held a press conference, in which he told about his journey. He said that the visit to both the countries has given a new direction to the industrial progress of the state. He said that he met industry leaders from both the countries. This visit will prove to be a big step towards making Punjab India’s most favorite investment destination.

CM said that he presented Punjab to the world as an emerging startup, industrial and technological hub. Its objective is to increase investment in the state, accelerate industrial production and create more employment opportunities for the youth. According to CM Mann, Japan Bank for International Corporation, Honda, Yamaha, NEC, Fujitsu, Topan Holdings, Aichi Steel and other big companies have shown interest in investing and manufacturing in Punjab. Many companies have agreed that they will participate in the Punjab Investment Conference 2026.

Punjab News: Korean companies also showed interest

CM said that the visit to South Korea was also very successful. Representatives of more than 200 companies participated in the investment roadshow held in Seoul and Osaka. Korean companies like GS ENC, Nongshim, Korea Display Industry Association, Daewoo E&C, Seoul Business Agency and Sunjin assured Punjab of cooperation in various fields.

Punjab News: Punjab got investment worth so many crores

The CM said that Punjab’s red carpet model provides timely approvals, transparent administration and investment-friendly environment to industries. With the help of Invest Punjab platform, investment of ₹1.4 lakh crore has already been ensured. He said that the collaboration of Punjab’s talent with Japanese technology and Korean industrial capacity will take Punjab forward towards making it a global manufacturing and technology hub. CM has informed all the companies about the meeting to be held at ISB Mohali from 13 to 15 March 2026. Progressive Punjab Investor Summit Are invited to join.

CM has expressed confidence that this international period will strengthen the economic future of Punjab. Will make Punjab a hub for global investment in the coming years.
