Punjab Kings IPL 2026 full schedule: PBKS matches date, time and venue | Read

Punjab Kings (PBKS) The IPL is entering 2026 with a schedule that has a mix of new venues, tough travel stretches and a crucial domestic race towards the end of the season. A key feature this year is their split household setup.

PBKS will play four matches at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh PCA Stadium, New Chandigarh (Mullanpur), in which Gujarat Titans (GT)Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Rajasthan Royals (RR). Later in the tournament, they will shift to the scenic HPCA Stadium, Dharamshala, where they will host three important matches against Delhi Capitals (DC), Mumbai Indians (MI) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

PBKS will begin their campaign at home against GT on March 31, a fixture that provides them with an opportunity to set the tone immediately. After finishing runners-up last season, the captain Shreyas Iyer And his team will be eager to start strong and carry that momentum forward. However, the initial part of the program quickly becomes challenging. PBKS have to face three consecutive away matches in different parts of the country – against CSK in Chennai, against KKR in Kolkata and against MI in Mumbai. This segment will test the team’s depth, adaptability and ability to handle pressure away from home.

A highlight of Punjab’s schedule comes in mid-May, when they will play three consecutive home matches in Dharamshala. The venue, known for its scenic beauty and lively conditions, returns to the IPL calendar this season and could play a crucial role in PBKS’s playoff run. Playing multiple matches at the same venue allows the team to adjust to the conditions, which could give them an edge in this decisive stage.

With Ricky Ponting remaining the head coach, Punjab Kings will aim to build on last season’s success. If they can overcome early away challenges and take advantage of their strong home finish, PBKS can become serious title contenders once again.
