Punjab Kings also had a fast start. Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh together added 37 runs for the first wicket in just 2.5 overs. However, Priyansh Arya was out early after scoring 29 runs in 11 balls. After this Prabhasimran Singh scored 59 runs in 44 balls and took over the innings.

In the middle order, Cooper Connolly contributed 30 runs in 14 balls and Shreyas Iyer contributed 30 runs in 27 balls. Whereas Marcus Stoinis played an explosive inning of 62 runs in 22 balls, which included 4 fours and 6 sixes. For Rajasthan, Yash Raj Punia took maximum 2 wickets, while Nandre Berger and Joffra Archer got one wicket each.
