Punjab Kings have retained at least 2 players for IPL 2025. Both players are uncapped. PBKS has released Arshdeep Singh. However, it was believed that Arshdeep was certain to be retained. Apart from this, the team has also released Jitesh Sharma, Ashutosh Sharma and Sam Curran. Punjab now needs a wicketkeeper and captain.
PBKS spent Rs 9.5 crore in retention
Punjab Kings retained Shashank Singh for Rs 5.5 crore and Prabhsimran Singh for Rs 4 crore. Punjab Kings have spent only Rs 9.5 crore on both the players. Now the Punjab team will enter the mega auction of IPL 2025 with the highest amount of money.
