In reply, Punjab Kings’ opener batsmen Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh, while chasing the target of 210 runs, made a flying start. Prabhsimran Singh was out after scoring 39 runs in 11 balls. At the same time, Prabhasimran scored 43 runs in 34 balls. Cooper Connolly scored 36 runs in 22 balls with the help of 6 fours. However, Nehal Vadhera disappointed with his performance and he became the victim of Matt Henry after scoring 10 runs.
