Punjab News: The foundation stone of the new bridge connecting the Tapa place with Minar-e-Begampura at Sri Khuralgarh Sahib, the holy place associated with Sri Guru Ravidas Sahib, was laid. This foundation stone was laid by the Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly, Shri Jai Krishna Singh Rowdy. With the construction of this bridge, devotees and local people will get great convenience in commuting.

A strong bridge will be built at a cost of Rs 4.4 crore

Deputy Speaker Jai Krishna Singh Rowdy said that this bridge will be built at a cost of approximately Rs 4.4 crore. He said that this bridge will remain durable for a long time and will provide safe and easy transportation facilities to the devotees. The construction work will be completed within the stipulated time frame and with complete transparency.

Preparations to celebrate 650th Prakash Parv on a large scale

The Deputy Speaker said that the 650th Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Ravidas Maharaj Ji will be celebrated on a large scale at Khuralgarh Sahib, the penance place. On this occasion, all the necessary arrangements will be completed by the Punjab Government in time, so that the Sangats coming from India and abroad do not face any kind of problem.

Respected government is doing all round development

He said that the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is continuously taking concrete steps for the all-round development of the state. Development of religious places and strengthening of basic facilities are among the priorities of the government.

Express gratitude from Guru Ghar

On this occasion, Chief Sevadar of Guru Ghar Baba Kewal Singh thanked Deputy Speaker Jai Krishna Singh Rowdy and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. Baba Sukhdev Singh and Baba Naresh Singh honored the Deputy Speaker by presenting him a Siropa. Panch-Sarpanch of nearby villages and a large number of devotees were also present in the program.
