Punjab News: Punjab State Scheduled Caste Commission has summoned the report from Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Faridkot regarding the action taken so far in the case of Kuldeep Singh and others vs State of Punjab and others.
Giving information in this regard, the spokesperson of the Commission said that SC/ST cases have been registered against Jasveer Kaur, Panch Bansa Singh, Panch Amrik Singh and others. FIR under the Act. In the matter of registration, a complaint was received from Amandeep Kaur, Sarpanch, wife Kuldeep Singh, resident of Gram Panchayat Chand Bhan, Block Jaito, District Faridkot. The next hearing date of this case has been fixed as 25-03-2026.
After considering the report the commission gave instructions
The spokesperson further said that after considering the report received from Punjab Police in this regard, the Commission has directed that keeping in mind the Special Leave Petition No. 13440 of 2025 pending in the Supreme Court, the arrest report of the accused and the detailed report of other legal action should be submitted to DSP. The investigation should be done by a level officer and sent to the Commission by 25-03-2026.
