Police of this state launches anti-gangster helpline, reward up to Rs 10 lakh for information about criminals

Anti-Gangster Helpline: Nowadays, crime cases are coming to light from every corner of the country, where cyber criminals, robbers, scoundrels and gangsters are harassing common citizens and torturing them in various ways. To stop these criminals, the police has started a new initiative, under which it may now become easier to trace these notorious people. The police department has said that if any person has any concrete information about gang operation, supply of illegal weapons, extortion, drugs network or absconding criminals, then he can directly inform the police through the helpline number issued. Every input received through this helpline will be cross-checked through technical surveillance, intelligence network and ground verification. Along with this, a special operation unit has been deployed for immediate action in case of need, which will be sent to the field as soon as the information is received.
