Punjab Rural Body Election Results 2025: Punjab The picture has become clear regarding the results of Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti elections. Elections were conducted through ballot paper. Aam Aadmi Party has won the Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti elections. The party’s position in local bodies seems to be strengthening. AAP has won 218 seats in Zilla Parishad and 1531 seats in Panchayat Samiti.

Apart from this, Congress has got 62 seats in Zilla Parishad, Akali Dal has got 46 seats and BJP has got 7 seats. In the Panchayat Samiti, Congress has got 612 seats, Akali Dal has got 445 seats and BJP has got 73 seats.

Kejriwal made a big announcement

During the press conference, Arvind Kejriwal said that “58,000 youth have been given government jobs in the state. Today about 1000 mohalla clinics are running across the state. People are very happy with this facility. From January, every household will get an insurance of Rs 10 lakh.”

He said, “The results of the Block Committee and Zilla Parishad elections show that the Aam Aadmi Party has won the elections by winning about 70% of the seats. This is a big thing…”

What did CM Bhagwant Mann say?

Regarding the party’s victory, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said that “Wherever our candidates have lost by small margins in Punjab, they will introspect, analyze their mistakes, reach out to the people and connect with them…”

Kejriwal praised CM Mann

After the party’s victory, Arvind Kejriwal praised Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and said, “There could not have been more fair elections in Punjab. The people of Punjab are very happy with the Bhagwant Mann government. The party has performed brilliantly in the civic elections. The people of Punjab have given victory by confirming the work of the Aam Aadmi Party.”

He further said that “Congress has won in Fakuala zone in Sangrur district by just 5 votes. What could be a bigger proof of free and fair than this. Not only this, there are many such seats where opposition parties have won by 3, 4 or 5 votes. If the opposition party wins by 1, 2, 3 or 5 votes, can any allegations be made?”

Victory on more than 250 seats of Zilla Parishad

CM Bhagwant Mann said, “The people of Punjab have given their verdict in favor of the works of Aam Aadmi Party. Aam Aadmi Party has won more than 1800 Block Committee and 250 Zilla Parishad seats. Akali Dal is at third place. If they still say that dinosaurs have come, then they should stay with them.”
