Punjab News: Bhagwant Mann government has taken a big decision to provide relief to traders and small businessmen in Punjab. It has been announced to form ‘Punjab Trade Commission’ in the state. Its purpose is to make business related processes easier for small traders, shopkeepers and entrepreneurs.

Punjab Finance, Excise and Taxation Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said that this step is an important initiative towards strengthening the economy of the state. He said that the main objective of the commission is to ensure that traders do not have to make repeated visits to government offices for daily work, departmental approvals and other formalities.
Small traders were forced to make rounds of offices
The Minister said that for a long time, small businessmen have been forced to visit many offices to solve small problems, due to which both their time and money are wasted. Punjab Trade Commission will be a platform where the problems of traders will be resolved in a timely and transparent manner.
Review meeting in many districts
To make this scheme effective, the government has conducted review meetings in many districts including Faridkot, Fatehgarh Sahib, Ludhiana, Moga, Malerkotla, Patiala, Rupnagar, Sangrur, Barnala and Bathinda. In these meetings, the functioning of the commission was discussed and discussed with the local administration and business organizations.
