Pushpa 2 makers respond to Devi Sri Prasad’s outburst on stage
During a recent media interaction, the makers of Pushpa 2: The Rule—Mythri Movie Makers—responded to the outburst of musician Devi Sri Prasad on stage at the Chennai event. Ravi Y Shankar said, “What did Devi gaaru even say? He said that we love him, but these days we have more complaints about his work. It is okay; we have a long journey. We don’t have any differences. In fact, as long as Devi Sri Prasad gaaru works, we will make films with him.” The makers who were promoting their upcoming film, Robinhood with Nithiin, reassured that there’s no conflict with the National Award-winning musician.
During the Pushpa 2: The Rule event in Chennai, the film’s music composer was openly critical of the producers, Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movies. Regarding the recent news about SS Thaman, Ajaneesh Loknath, and Sam CS being added as additional composers for the film, the film’s primary music composer, who gave the Pushpa: The Rise’s blockbuster album, said, “We should ask and take what we want, whether it is payment from producers or screen credit. I don’t understand what the problem producer Ravi has with me; he is always critical of everything about me. That I didn’t deliver music on time or that I didn’t arrive here on time. Sir, I was kept on hold outside the event, and you know how shy I am offstage. I am shameless only on stage. What can I do about that?”
The makers launched the third single, ‘Kissik,’ from the film at the event. It already became the highest viewed South Indian track on YouTube. Director Sukumar’s highly anticipated sequel, Pushpa 2: The Rulefeaturing Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, and Rashmika Mandanna, is gearing up for its global release on December 5. The recently unveiled trailer teases a gripping storyline, showcasing the escalating rivalry between Pushpa and Fahadh Faasil’s Shikhawat, while also capturing tender moments with Srivalli, portrayed by Rashmika Mandanna.
