With this announcement, Mythri Movie Makers aimed to quash rumours stating that Pushpa 2 will be released on OTT soon. The production house reiterated that, as of now, the fans will only be able to catch Pushpa 2 in theatres. The post further revealed that the film will not come to OTT until 56 days post-release. That’s right, considering this, Pushpa 2 will likely be released on Netflix in February 2025!

Pushpa 2 extended version release date
Adding to the excitement, the makers have decided to release Pushpa 2‘s extended cut. You read that right, various reports suggest that 20 minutes of additional footage will be added to Pushpa 2‘s re-release on December 25, 2024. Filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma commended the strategic decision as industry experts predict that this extended cut could give the film a boost in Box Office sales.
