PM Modi Honor In Russia News In Hindi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was formally awarded Russia's highest civilian honour, the Order of St Andrew the Apostle the First-Called, on July 9. This honor was conferred on Prime Minister Modi in recognition of his distinguished contribution in the development of the Special Strategic Partnership between Russia and India and in promoting friendly relations between the two countries.

President Putin awarded Prime Minister Narendra Modi the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle the First-Called at a special ceremony held at the Kremlin's St. Andrew Hall. This award, announced in 2019, was formally presented during the same event.

Prime Minister Modi is the first Indian leader to receive the prestigious award, which was established in 1698 by Tsar Peter the Great in honor of St. Andrew, the first apostle of Jesus and patron saint of Russia.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, while accepting the award, Prime Minister Modi dedicated it to the people of India and the traditional bonds of friendship between India and Russia. He emphasized that this honor highlights the special and privileged strategic partnership between the two countries.
