Delhi: Russian President Vladimir Putin Today (Thursday) has arrived for a visit to India. Putin’s plane landed at Palam Airport in national capital Delhi at around 7 pm. Putin is visiting India to participate in the 23rd India-Russia Annual Summit. Putin’s visit comes in the wake of the Russia-Ukraine war and US sanctions against Russia, attracting the attention of the entire world.

Prime Minister Modi met

A red carpet was rolled out at Palam Airport to welcome Russian President Vladimir Putin. Prime Minister Narendra Modi Putin himself was present at the airport to welcome him. As soon as Vladimir Putin came out of the plane, Prime Minister Modi gave him a grand welcome with a hug. At night, Prime Minister Modi will host a dinner for Putin.

‘These’ important agreements will be discussed

After a long gap of 4 years, Putin has visited India. Prime Minister Modi and Putin will hold bilateral talks tomorrow (Friday) and issue a joint statement. Many big defense deals are likely to be discussed in this meeting. An important agreement on the advanced version of the BrahMos missile can be signed between the two countries. This new version will be more dangerous than before.

Fighter aircraft and defense systems

Su-57 fighter jets, as well as S-400 and S-500 air defense systems are also likely to be signed. The issue of buying oil from Russia is also likely to be discussed between the two leaders.
