PV Sindhu tied the knot, shines as a bride, see picture
PV Sindhu Wedding: Indian badminton star and Olympic medalist PV Sindhu married her fiance Venkat Dutta Sai in Udaipur. Dressed in traditional wedding dresses, Sindhu and Dutta took seven rounds in the presence of family and close friends. Jodhpur's Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat was also present on this happy occasion. He shared the first picture of the wedding on his handle.
The engagement took place on Saturday
Sindhu and Venkat Dutta, who is the executive director of Hyderabad-based Posidex Technologies, got engaged on Saturday.
Gajendra Singh Shekhawat wrote on X, "Attended the wedding ceremony of our badminton champion and Olympian PV Sindhu and Venkat Dutta Sai and gave them good wishes and blessings for their new life."
The celebrations after the wedding are not over yet. The couple will throw a grand reception party on December 24 in Sindhu's hometown Hyderabad.
From music to haldi, colorful rituals
Sangeet was organized on 20 December. After this, Haldi, Pellikuthuru and Mehndi rituals were performed the next day. Sindhu's father told that both the families have known each other for a long time, but the wedding plans were made in just a month. This date was chosen due to Sindhu's training and competitions since January.

Sindhu's recent badminton achievements
Recently, Sindhu won the BWF World Tour title by defeating China's Wu Luo Yu in the Syed Modi India International Badminton Tournament held in Lucknow. In this match that lasted for 47 minutes, Sindhu defeated Luo Yu in straight games 21-14, 21-16.
