New Delhi: Ace Indian shuttler and two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu is set to marry Venkata Datta Sai, a Hyderabad-based businessman in a royal wedding ceremony in Rajasthan’s Udaipur on Sunday, December 22. Sindhu’s family had announced her wedding with Sai earlier this month and the couple got engaged on December 14.
Sindhu had shared a picture of the couple after their engagement where both were seen holding their rings, smiling ear to ear. The couple are now set to exchange wedding vows in Udaipur and the preparations for the star-studded ceremony are complete. Udaipur, a city famous for destination weddings, has been witness to several lavish marriages in the past involving some of the biggest celebrities and businessmen in the country.

PV Sindhu is set to tie the knot with the love of her life Venkata Datta Sai in the lake city of Rajasthan at the majestic Raffles Udaipur Resort. The luxurious property is a five-star country-mansion style resort located at Guest Lakeshore and contains exquisite ornamental gardens, state-of-the-art architecture and magical fountains among others.
As per a report in News18, the wedding celebrations which began on December 20 will be held at three historic locations in Udaipur – Lake Palace, Leela Palace and Jag Mandir.

Rajasthani Royal touch at wedding venue, boats for guests
As per News18’s report, the venue for PV Sindhu’s wedding with Venkata Datta Sai has been decorated lavishly exhibiting royalty and the classic Rajasthani touch. The decorations have been done keeping in mind the amalgamation of culture and Royalty. Boats have been arranged for guests who will be travelling from all parts of the world to carry them to the venue.

Several notable celebrities from the world of sports and entertainment are expected to grace PV Sindhu’s wedding with Venkata Datta Sai and bless the newly-wed couple. As per News18, the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Neeraj Chopra and other sports stars are expected to attend the wedding along with Bollywood celebrities like Alia Bhatt and others.
PV Sindhu had earlier joined her to-be husband in handing out wedding invitation to the likes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, elangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Andhra Pradesh CM and Deputy Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu, and Pawan Kalyan, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju among others. Some notable politicians are expected to grace the wedding in Udaipur on Sunday.
