PWL 2026: Chandra Vijay Singh appointed coach of ‘Tigers of Mumbai Dangals’

Mumbai: Former national coach Chandra Vijay Singh has been appointed the head coach of ‘Tigers of Mumbai Dangles’ in the Pro Wrestling League (PWL), which is making a comeback after six years. PWL will be organized from January 16 to February 1 in which six teams will participate. The PWL, which started in 2015, was postponed in 2019.

The Mumbai franchise is preparing for its debut season and the appointment of two-time PWL title winner Vijay Singh will provide technical expertise to the team. Aspect Sports, the sports arm of Aspect Global Ventures, has acquired the Mumbai franchise in partnership with Apco Infratech. The auction of players for the league will be held on January 3 in which many top wrestlers of the country will be available for bidding. These include other wrestlers including Aman Sehrawat, Last Panghal, Deepak Punia, Anshu Malik, Lalita Sehrawat, Mansi Ahlawat, Kiran Bishnoi and Chirag Chikkara.
