Qatar engaged in reducing Iran-US tension, after Pakistan, now Doha has become a major mediator
Doha . Amid rising tensions in West Asia, Qatar is now seen playing the role of mediator between Iran and the United States . After Pakistan’s efforts, Qatar has now intensified its efforts to advance talks between the two countries. In this connection, US Secretary of State ( Marco Rubio) and White House Special Envoy ( Steve Witkoff) held an important meeting with Qatar’s Prime Minister ( Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani) in Miami .
The US State Department confirmed the meeting and said the talks were aimed at reducing tensions with Iran and moving towards a possible agreement.

The Qatari Prime Minister was reportedly initially scheduled to return to Doha after meeting with US Vice President JD Vance , but he abruptly changed his plans and traveled to Miami. There, he also held talks with the Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister.
Many Muslim countries are making a strategy together
According to sources, Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey , and Saudi Arabia are working together on a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to de-escalate the conflict between the two countries. The mediating countries are trying to ensure the situation does not escalate to war and that both sides remain on the path of dialogue.
Concerns over increased military activity in Hormuz
Meanwhile, recent exchanges of fire between Iranian and US forces in the Strait of Hormuz have further escalated tensions. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have warned that US bases in the region could be targeted if Iranian oil tankers or merchant ships are attacked.
Experts believe that if the current tensions escalate, they could impact the global oil market and the stability of West Asia. Therefore, the world’s attention is now focused on Qatar’s mediation and the US-Iran talks.
