Qatar Helicopter Crash: Six people died in helicopter accident, one still missing, rescue operation continues

Qatar Helicopter Crash: Qatar Ministry of Interior said on Sunday that six people have died in a helicopter crash in the country’s territorial waters. Officials said that rescue operations are underway and the search is on for one person still missing in this accident.

The ministry said that after the helicopter crash on Sunday morning, search and rescue operations are going on in the territorial waters of the country. Information about the accident was first given by the Ministry of Defence. According to the Ministry of Interior, the Maritime Search and Rescue Team of the Directorate of Coastal Security and Border Security and the Qatar International Search and Rescue Group of the Internal Security Force are actively involved in the operation. Both teams have experience in rescue operations in difficult sea conditions.
