Asha Bhosle: Giving a deep shock to the Indian music world, veteran singer Asha Bhosle died on Sunday at the age of 92. His demise sent a wave of mourning across the country. He was cremated with full state honors at Mumbai’s historic Shivaji Park on Monday. Amidst the slogans of ‘Asha Tai Amar Rahein’, his son Anand lit his funeral pyre. Asha Bhosle was not well for some time. He was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on April 11 due to difficulty in breathing. When his condition worsened, he was kept in the ICU, but despite all efforts the doctors could not save him. According to doctors, he died due to multi-organ failure.
