After Dharmendra’s departure, the discussion intensified that relations between the families of his second wife Hema Malini and first wife Prakash Kaur were not good. Especially rumors of rift with Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Ajita and Vijeta came to light. Now Hema Malini has broken her silence on all these news. He clearly said that there is no negativity of any kind between the two families.

“Everyone is one for Papa”
Speaking to the media, Hema Malini said: “I am a father, I will do everything for my father, be it these children (Isha, Ahana) or those children (Sunny, Bobby). They all loved Dharamji very much and also each other. There is no negativity at all among the family. Dharamji was a source of love, strength and values. We are all fine and will fill this void.”
Tribute honor received at BAFTA 2026
Recently, Dharmendra was honored in the ‘In Memoriam’ segment of the 79th BAFTA Awards 2026 ceremony. Expressing happiness over this, Hema Malini said that he fully deserved this honour. He said that Dharmendra was not only a great actor but also a wonderful human being—and there could be no one like him.
two marriages, big family
Dharmendra had married twice in his life. At the age of 19, his first marriage took place with Prakash Kaur, with whom he had four children—Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Ajeeta and Vijeta. After coming into films, his heart fell on Hema Malini and he married her for the second time in the 80s. He has two daughters—Esha Deol and Ahana Deol—from this marriage.
